Impresii Hotel ATHOS PALACE KASSANDRA

Experienta nu a fost una plăcută, pricipala problema a fost transportul cu liftul,dupa ce ca se astepta si 15 min unul s-a defectat si nu a fost reparat noi avand un sejur de 9 nopti,ultimele 4 au fost fara al 4 lea lift,personalul de la barul de la piscina lasa de dorit pareau in permanență deranjați ca le ceri ceva,plaja si intrarea in apa plina de pietre,stânci si arici de mare,nu recomand.

We stayed at this hotel in August 2016, family with 2 small children, half-board, garden view.
The place is very good for families with children, we used to go to near by Palini Hotel beach which is very nice, with fine sand and clear blue water - very warm.
The beach in front of Athos Palace is with rocks when entering the water, but at Palini it was great and only 30 meters away. The room was classical furbished, furniture was good quality but not new, we appreciated the extra sofa with comfortable matress, room was spacious, bathroom big and nice with bathtub, TV and refrigerator were old and a bit rusty. Very good cleaning service every day. We were very happy with this aspect for our children. Even the hotel was full with families with children, it wasn't noisy at all.
Elevators were crowded, 1/4 wasn't working, we were lucky we stayed at the 1st floor, so sometimes we took the stairs, which wasn't bad because of the exercise after eating.
Food - restaurant: was various but with not so sophisticated dishes but the ones they had were very tasty, delicious, all types of meat (pork, lamb, chicken, turkey, viel) rich salad bar, fresh baked variety of bread, extraordinary cakes in the evening (this might be the reason we gained a few kg).
The only minus about food it lacked fish and seafood, waiters very prompt, fresh tablecloth after each client. They served, coffee, tea, drinks very promptly.
The pool was olimpic size and clean, nice sunbeds.
Very nice garden, we appreciated the small church, playgrounds for children.
Very helpful staff all around.
As a conclusion all the hotel has a vintage look, but everything was built in a quality manner and the service & cleanliness are very good so we were very satisfied and we had a great time with our children, we are thinking of going back again.
